At XW Media, we move through the production process at your pace. We ultimately create the videos together, but guide you along the way. We’ve streamlined our video production process into the following steps:

Discovery & Strategy

We start by asking a lot of questions about your business, your customers and your goals so that, together, we can set a clear strategic direction, and choose the right type of content with the right message.

Development

We continue to work together on the planning and development of the project by further fleshing things out so that everyone begins to see what the video will look and feel like. The script and storyboard are well on the way to being finished if not already completed.

Pre-Production

Absolutely everything is planned and pre-determined down to the last detail before any cameras start to roll. Being prepared can make or break success, so we don’t take details for granted as they ultimately show up on screen.

 

Production

If we are assigning only one videographer or an entire film crew, whether it’s on location, in-studio, flying a drone or filming on your premises, we’re fully insured and experienced to do the job or will find the right specialist to complete the job successfully. We use the most up-to-date camera, audio and lighting gear as needed for your project.

Post-Production

This is where we take the raw video and audio elements of your project and assemble them into an engaging narrative. Then we polish them into a glossy final product that stirs emotion and influences action. After 2 sets of revisions, your final video is delivered.

Publishing & Distribution

The proper distribution of content is just as important as the content itself. Content tracking and analysis are used to determine performance in order to make adjustments, improve effectiveness, and ROI. If the scope of the project includes this stage we will have already discussed titling, thumbnails, keywords, metadata, descriptions, transcripts, backlinks and so on.
